Our Mission
The George McClellan Foundation will strive to keep the spirit of the late George McClellan alive by providing assistance for the student athlete to achieve their fullest potential both on and off the court.
G.M.I. Scholarship

The George McClellan Foundation has teamed up with HABCA to award a $1,000 scholarship to one area basketball student athlete during the HABCA set of all star games. We would like to thank supporters of the G.M.I. for making this possible. Listed below are the qualifications to be eligible;
To be eligible to receive this scholarship the player must have the following criteria:
1. Current participant in the HABCA all star game
2. Participated in the George McClellan Invitational
3. Played the entire high school season in good standing.
4. Must not have signed a letter of intent/ scholarship papers with any college or university as of May of the current year.
5. His high school coach must be an active member of the HABCA

Proceeds from the G.M.I are used to provide school supplies and uniforms to students in the Greater Houston area in need. Thanks to the basketball community, Harris County Sherriffs Department and Triple J's BBQ for their continued support.
